Functional features
Rapid ascending and descending: The speed is usually between 0.8m/s and 1.5m/s, and it generally takes about 2 seconds for the door to rise from the bottom to the top, which is much faster than ordinary roller shutter doors. Vehicles and pedestrians don't need to wait for a long time.
Functions such as heat preservation and moisture retention: They have functions like heat preservation, moisture retention, dust prevention, insect prevention and sound insulation. They can keep the workshop in a constant temperature, constant humidity and clean working environment, and are suitable for fields with high environmental requirements such as the food, pharmaceutical and electronics industries.
Rich safety protection devices: Common ones include photoelectric protection. Reflective photoelectric switches are installed on the door columns on both sides of the door. When the door is descending and an object blocks the sensor, the door will immediately stop descending and automatically rise. There is also airbag protection. The airbag is installed at the bottom of the door curtain. When it touches an obstacle and receives a certain amount of pressure, the door will also immediately stop descending and automatically rise.
Structural composition
Door frame: It provides support and fixation for the entire door body. The materials are diverse, such as galvanized steel plates.
PVC door curtain: Generally, PVC or PVDF film materials are used as the curtain fabric. The PVDF film material has better anti-aging performance, is less likely to fade and has a self-cleaning function. The thickness of the curtain fabric is between 0.8mm and 2.0mm, and there are various colors. Orange is more eye-catching and has an insect-proof function.
Drive motor: A braking and decelerating motor is used, which is required to have fast braking and low noise. A gear ratio between 1:10 and 1:15 is appropriate.
Control system: It consists of PLC, frequency converters, encoders, etc., which can realize the rapid ascending and descending of the door curtain and accurate positioning.
Working principle
The opening sensor provides a trigger signal to the control system. The control system sends instructions to the frequency converter according to the current position of the fast roller shutter door, starts the drive motor to make the door curtain rise rapidly. After vehicles and pedestrians pass through, the door curtain will automatically descend to close the passage until the next opening signal triggers it to open again.
Opening methods
Manual button: Press the button installed near the door body to control the opening and closing of the door.
Radar induction: When an object approaches, the radar senses it and triggers the door to open. It is often used in places where vehicles frequently enter and exit.
Infrared photoelectric induction: Utilizing the induction principle of infrared rays, when an object blocks the infrared rays, the door body will perform corresponding opening or closing actions.
Ground magnetic induction: Mainly used in occasions where vehicles pass through. When a vehicle passes by, the magnetic field on the ground changes, thus triggering the door to open.
Remote control: Use a remote control to remotely control the ascending and descending of the door body, which is convenient and fast.
Application fields
They are widely used in industrial fields such as food, pharmaceuticals, electronics, rubber, chemicals, automobiles, textiles, logistics, as well as commercial places such as supermarkets and warehouses.
They have long been popularized in developed industrial countries such as Europe, the United States and Japan. In China, although it started relatively late, it has developed rapidly, with an annual growth rate of about 30%. In the future, fast roller shutter doors will develop in the directions of specialized design and development, specialized production, simplified installation and unified industry standards.
Track installation: The track must be installed horizontally and vertically to ensure that the door curtain runs smoothly during the ascending and descending process and avoid jamming or derailment.
Motor installation: The motor should be installed firmly, and the connection with the roller shaft should be tight to ensure the stability of power transmission. Meanwhile, pay attention to the correct wiring of the motor.
Door curtain installation: When installing the door curtain, pay attention to unfolding it flat to avoid wrinkles or twists that may affect the sealing performance and appearance of the door. Also, make sure that the door curtain fits tightly with the track and the sealing device at the bottom.
Regular cleaning: Regularly remove the dust and dirt on the surface of the door curtain. For door curtains with self-cleaning functions, they also need to be wiped regularly to maintain a good appearance and transparency.
Component inspection: Frequently check the wear of components such as tracks, pulleys and motors. If any component is severely worn, it should be replaced in time to prevent door failures caused by damaged components.
Lubrication maintenance: Regularly add lubricating oil to moving parts such as tracks, pulleys and roller shafts to reduce friction, reduce noise and extend the service life of the components.
